“You wake up one day to realize that you are busier than you've ever been, but no deeper in the things of God than you were years ago.” Author Unknown
How true this quote seems to be, I seem to be busier than ever, but have to work at making sure I spend time in the Word and with the Lord each day. It is necessary in order for me to grow in the Lord and to know Him better.
It seems like everything is speeding up until a person wonders if they are spinning out of control.
Ephesians 1:18-19
18 By having the eyes of your heart flooded with light, so that you can know and understand the hope to which He has called you, and how rich is His glorious inheritance in the saints (His set-apart ones),
19 And [so that you can know and understand] what is the immeasurable and unlimited and surpassing greatness of His power in and for us who believe, as demonstrated in the working of His mighty strength,
God’s Word is full of instruction. When we dig into it, then we can have our hearts flooded with light, and understand the hope He gives us.
Thanks, Father for your mighty Word to lead us and guide us as we go about this journey you have placed us on. May we strive to know you more each day.
