Integrity

Greetings,
It is overcast, but a nice morning here on the farm.
Sis and I saw a sign on a church reader board saying the sermon was going to be about integrity. We began to discuss what it was and if people even knew the meaning anymore.
“One’s mere word should be as trustworthy as a signed agreement attested by legal witnesses.” Curtis Vaughan

Integrity
1. possession of firm principles
the quality of possessing and steadfastly adhering to high moral principles or professional standards

Psalms 7:8
8 The LORD shall judge the people: judge me, O LORD, according to my righteousness, and according to mine integrity that is in me.
Psalms 26:1 & 11
Judge me, O LORD; for I have walked in mine integrity: I have trusted also in the LORD; therefore I shall not slide.
11 But as for me, I will walk in mine integrity: redeem me, and be merciful unto me.

Prov 20:7
7 The just man walketh in his integrity: his children are blessed after him.

What would happen if every “Christian” decided to walk in integrity? How would that affect those around us? When did we forget what it meant to hold a high moral standard or principles? How do we get back to walking in integrity? I believe as we read the Bible, and get into communication through prayer that God will show us and guide us to walk in integrity.

Father, please help each of us to walk with you, to walk in honesty, completeness, and wholeness in you; whereby, we will then walk in integrity. Thank you, Father.

Have a super day!
