JOY!

Greetings to all of you this beauteous Sunday morning,
I was thinking early this morning about laughter and joy, it just seems that when things are rough if you can remember to laugh you feel better. Not only do you feel better, but those around you feel better also.
I would like to give you some scriptures on joy.
Isaiah 35:10
And the ransomed of the LORD shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.
Isaiah 51:11
Therefore the redeemed of the LORD shall return, and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy shall be upon their head: they shall obtain gladness and joy; and sorrow and mourning shall flee away.
Isaiah 55:12
For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.Isaiah 61:3
To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.
John 15:11
These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.

Proverbs 15:13
A merry heart maketh a cheerful countenance; but by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken.

The other day while listening to a lady pray, I could feel such joy radiating from her that I opened my eyes and looked at her, she was giving praise to the Lord. She was so happy she was trying really hard not to overflow with laughter as she was praying. I could feel the laughter bubbling up in my soul. It just started spilling out. As I started to laugh, the lady began to laugh as well; there were four of us praying with hands joined together in a circle. Soon all of us was laughing in the joy of the Lord. It was a tremendous moment in time. One of the ladies had never experienced that before while praying. I am so thankful that when things get rough, God created in each of us the ability to laugh.
Prov 17:22
A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.

Have a joyful day!
Joy
