He Healeth the Broken in Heart!

Psalm 147 1:5
1 PRAISE THE Lord! For it is good to sing praises to our God, for He is gracious and lovely; praise is becoming and appropriate.
2 The Lord is building up Jerusalem; He is gathering together the exiles of Israel.
3 He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds [curing their pains and their sorrows].
4 He determines and counts the number of the stars; He calls them all by their names.
5 Great is our Lord and of great power; His understanding is inexhaustible and boundless.
I was reading this passage of scripture and thought about how many of the Psalms start out with offering praise to the Lord. God loves the praises of His people, probably far greater than we love to have people give us praise. He delights in our praises. When we come to Him with praise it enables the Father to pour His blessings upon us. He heals our broken heart and binds up our wounds. He takes away the sorrow when our loved ones pass away. He does care. He sees our tears. He wraps His love around us and says it's OK. He fills us with His peace and love.
Praise His Holy Name.
Have a great day in the Lord.
Joy
