Lord I wish I were a butterfly
So pretty and graceful
On my pretty wings to
You I’d fly

Lord I wish I were a frog
I’d jump and jump and leap
I try to reach you my
Soul to keep

Lord I wish I were a bird
To heaven on wings I would fly
I surely would if I could
If only I were a bird

Lord if only I were a tree
I would lift my branches
In praise to thee

Lord if only I were a flower
I would thank you for
The rain shower
It makes me grow
I praise you so

Lord I’m only me
I raise my voice to thee
I raise my arms in praise
I will love you all my days
As I walk in your ways
Lord I’m glad I am
Who you created me to be
I’m happy to be “just me”
